26 Kasım 2018 tarihinde kaybettiğimiz Psikoloji Bölümü son sınıf öğrencimiz İrem Kütük için bir anıt tasarlanması amacıyla düzenlenen yarışma sonucunda Eren Güney ve Dilara Güney'in projesi İrem Kütük’ün anısını yaşatmaya değer bulundu.
İrem’in çeşitli ve güçlü özelliklerinin ODTÜ kampüsü ile uyum ve iletişim içinde temsil edilebilmesine yönelik tasarlanan anıt; İrem’in herkesle iyi anlaştığı noktasından hareketle çevresiyle daha canlı bir ilişki kuracak şekilde kurgulanmıştır.
Anıt, İrem’in öğrenim gördüğü Beşeri Bilimler Binası’nın ana girişinde, sol taraftaki çimlik alanda sergilenecek.
In the competition organized to design a monument for our deceased senior student İrem Kütük, who was studying at the Department of Physchology and passed away on November 26, 2018,the project of Eren Güney and Dilara Güney was found to be worth honoring the memory of İrem Kütük.
The monument has been designed to represent İrem's diverse and powerful traits in harmony and in communication with the METU campus. Considering Irem's easy-going personality, it has been devised to establish a more lively relationship with the environment around it.
The monument will stand in the grass area on the left side of the main entrance of Human Sciences Building, where she was studying.
