Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu (TÜBİTAK) Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı (BİDEB) 2232 ve 2247 çağrıları sonuçlandı.
2232 Uluslararası Lider Araştırmacılar Programı
Halen yurtdışında çalışan nitelikli araştırmacıların yurtdışından Türkiye'ye gelmelerini teşvik etmek ve araştırmalarını Türkiye'deki kuruluşlarda yürütmelerini sağlamak üzere destek vermeyi amaçlayan 2232 Uluslararası Lider Araştırmacılar Programı ile Türkiye'ye gelecek 63 araştırmacıdan sekizi araştırmalarını ODTÜ’de yürütecek.
TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232-A Programı Uluslararası Lider Araştırmacılar Programı kapsamında Dr. Ufuk Aydemir Fizik Bölümü’ne ve Dr. Ali Ercan İnşaat Mühendisliği Bölümü’ne gelecek. TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232-B Uluslararası Genç Araştırmacılar Programı kapsamındaysa Dr. Banu Bayyurt Biyolojik Bilimler Bölümü’ne, Dr. Ahmet Alperen Günay Mikro ve Nanoteknoloji ABD’na, Dr. Ahmed Hareedy Elektrik ve Elektronik Mühendisliği Bölümü’ne, Dr. Korhan Şahin Mühendislik Bilimleri Bölümü’ne ve Dr. Yassine Naciri ile Dr. Şeniz Uçar Metalurji ve Malzeme Mühendisliği Bölümü’ne gelecek.
2247 Ulusal Lider Araştırmacılar Programı
Diğer taraftan, bilimin ve teknolojinin her alanında Türkiye’de yüksek nitelikte gelişmeler sağlamaya yönelik hedefler içeren projelere ve bu projeleri gerçekleştirecek yurt içindeki bilim insanlarına destek vermeyi amaçlayan 2247 Ulusal Lider Araştırmacılar Programı’nda ise desteklenmesine karar verilen 42 projeden dördü ODTÜ öğretim üyeleri tarafından yürütülecek.
TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2247-A Ulusal Lider Araştırmacılar Programı kapsamında Kimya Bölümü’nden Prof. Dr. Levent K. Toppare, Elektrik ve Elektronik Mühendisliği Bölümü’nden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Emine Bostancı ve Deniz Bilimleri Enstitüsü’nden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Korhan Özkan’ın projeleri ile TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2247-D Ulusal Genç Araştırmacılar Programı kapsamında Metalurji ve Malzeme Mühendisliği Bölümü’nden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Yusuf Keleştemur’un projesi desteklenmeye hak kazandı.
The results of the 2232 and 2247 calls by the Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programs (BİDEB) operating under the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) have been announced.
2232 International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers
Within the 2232 International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program, which aims to encourage and support qualified researchers currently working abroad to come to Turkey and carry out their studies in institutions in Turkey, eight researchers out of 63 who will come to Turkey for their research will conduct their studies at METU.
Within TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232-A International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program, Dr. Ufuk Aydemir will come to the Department of Physics, while Dr. Ali Ercan will come to the Department of Civil Engineering. On the other hand, within TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232-B International Fellowship for Early Stage Researchers Program, Dr. Banu Bayyurt will come to the Department of Biological Sciences, Dr. Ahmet Hareedy to the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Dr. Ahmet Alperen Günay to the Micro and Nanotechnology Graduate Program, Dr. Korhan Şahin to the Department of Engineering Sciences, and Dr. Yassine Naciri along with Dr. Şeniz Uçar to the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
2247 National Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers
Moreover, within the 2247 National Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program, the objective of which is to support projects with targets that can lead to qualified advancements in all fields of science and technology in Turkey as well as supporting the researchers working in Turkey who are able to carry out such studies, four out of 42 projects to be funded will be conducted by METU academics.
As part of TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2247-A National Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program, projects belonging to Prof. Levent K. Toppare from the Department of Chemistry, Asst. Prof. Emine Bostancı from the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Korhan Özkan from the Institute of Marine Sciences will be funded. The project conducted by Asst. Prof. Yusuf Keleştemur from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, on the other hand, will be funded within TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2247-D National Fellowship for Early Stage Researchers Program.
