ODTÜ TEKNOKENT Animasyon Teknolojileri ve Oyun Geliştirme Merkezi’nde (ATOM) yer alan üç oyun geliştirme stüdyosunun oyunları, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde Temmuz ayında en çok indirilen oyunlar arasında yer aldı. ATOM stüdyolarının oyunları, ABD Apple App Store’dan en çok indirilen oyunlar listesinde aynı anda en üst sırada yer alarak gurur verici bir tablo oluşturdu.
App Store listesinde, Maglab Turkey’in Fidget Trading 3D: Fidget Toys isimli oyunu ilk sırada yer alırken, Panteon’un Trading Master 3D oyunu ikinci, Alictus’un Affairs 3D: Silly Secrets oyunu ise üçüncü oldu. Apple’ın yanı sıra Google’ın Android platformunda da oynanabilen ve “hyper-casual” oyun kategorisinde bulunan bu oyunlar, her iki platformun uygulama mağazası verilerine göre, halen hem ABD’de hem de küresel ölçekte en çok indirilen oyunlar arasında yer alıyor. Çoğunlukla mobil cihazlara yönelik olarak üretilen hyper-casual oyunlar, bir ya da iki oyun mekaniğine dayanan, karmaşıklıktan uzak yapısıyla oyuncunun sürekli oyuna devam etmesini amaçlayan, sade oyunları ifade ediyor.
The games of three video game development studios of METU TEKNOKENT's Animation Technologies and Game Development Center (ATOM) were among the most downloaded games in the United States in July. It was flattering for METU to see the three games developed by ATOM-based studios simultaneously ranking in the top three of the chart on Apple's App Store in the United States.
On the list of most downloaded games of the App Store, Fidget Trading 3D: Fidget Toys developed by Maglab Turkey ranked first, Trading Master 3D developed by Panteon ranked second, and Affairs 3D: Silly Secrets developed by Alictus ranked third. These video games can also be played on Android devices as well as Apple. According to the charts of App Store and Google Play Store, all three games, which can be defined as hyper-casual games, are still listed among the most downloaded games both in the US and worldwide. Hyper-casual games, mostly developed for mobile devices, mean simple games based on one or two game mechanics, aiming to keep the player constantly playing thanks to their uncomplicated structure.
